Anime

empire_extra_v1Last night I went to Empire Cinemas Clydebank as they where hosting a few showings of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F. Having not watched DragonBall for a great deal of time I thought I would be lost. This wasn’t the case, as soon as I sat down to watch the feature all memories of previous episodes that I watched came flooding back just like a tidal wave cause by a kamehameha. The cinema actually got the Resurrection F film before the Scotland loves Anime event which is coming up in the Glasgow Film theatre (GFT) on Saturday 10th of October at 14:30 for any that wish to see this film. it was amazing to see it on the big screen and it brought about a sense of nostalgia for me and all my friends that went to see it. Initially we thought that it wouldn’t be that busy, little did we know that Anime was so popular in the area. The cinema was even encouraging you to Bring your friends along and come dressed as your favourite Dragon Ball Z character. The film sold sixty plus tickets for both performance of the show and if you would like to know what the film was about here is a little synopsis:

The film is about the return of Frieza – one of the most iconic villains of all time. After years in spiritual purgatory, Frieza has been resurrected and plans to take his revenge on the Z-Fighters of Earth. Facing off against Frieza’s powerful new form, Goku and Vegeta must reach new levels of strength in order to protect Earth from their vengeful nemesis.
